Digipak Advert Ideas
This is my first digipak advert idea. I have chosen to feature my final digipak front cover on the advert as I believe it will make the digipak more recognisable and easier to find when available to buy in stores. I have used this image as I wanted to show all of the singers/band members who feature in the music video "Really Don't Care" alongside Demi. This is because it gives the target audience the chance tio find out who Demi collaborates with and also who she is friends with. This will please her fanbase as they like to be involved with Demi's personal life. I have chosen to show the social networking sites on the advert as technology is a big part of everybodys everyday life- therefore they are able to interact with Demi over these sites and support her, as well as recieving updates. Addtionally I have featured "Hollywood Records" on the bottom of the advert to establish who signed Demi. Lastly I have displayed the release date and price on the advert to inform the audience when the album is available to buy, however i may remove the price as i'm not so keen on it featuring on the advert. I have chosen this to be my final digipak advert as it is my most favourable out of the three, this is because of its layout, font and image that feature on the advert.
For my second digipak advert idea, I have used one of my digipak front covers in order to link them togther, which will make the digipak more recognisable to the target audience when they buy it. By using a close up on Demi's face it allows the audience to view her up close and perhaps draw in a male audience as well. This is because Demi is an attractive young lady, that I believe males will find her visually pleasing. I have again placed the "Hollywood Records" logo along the left side of the advert to establish who supports Demi. A similar trait to my first digipak advert is the date, price and social networking sites featuring on the advert for the same reasons as the first advert.
For my third digipak advert idea, i decided not to use a digipak front cover again but instead an airshot of Demi. The image shows Demi jumping in the air with her guitar, which features in the music video, I beleive that this creates a happy and fun atmosphere which will reflect well on the audience and apply to their age range. I have placeed the "Hollywood Records" logo along the right to esatblish who supports Demi, which may make them more popular. I have also featured the three main social networking sites Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for the same reason as I have on the other two digipak adverts. This is also the same for the price at the bottom of the advert and the date that the CD is released on.
